Tickets and Traffic Offence Reports
Penalty Notices and Traffic Offence Reports exist to enable Police officers to quickly process minor offences quickly.
Once your Traffic Offence Report has been processed you may be issued with the offer of a Fixed Penalty. Acceptance of a Fixed Penalty does not constitute an admission of guilt on the part of the person in receipt of it, and neither does it constitute part of a criminal record.
Traffic Offence Reports can be given for a road traffic offence, such as speeding, and Penalty Notices for disorder relating to minor anti-social behaviour or nuisance. See the following links for details of circumstances in which Fixed Penalties are applied.
