Local Policing Superintendent Louise Harrison

I joined Merseyside Police in 1992 walking the beat in the City Centre . All my service has been in uniform roles and I have been fortunate enough to have worked in a wide variety of roles, from  Armed Response to Community Safety; from  Mounted to the Matrix.

I have worked as a Neighbourhood Inspector and Chief Inspector in some of the most challenging areas in Merseyside and what I have always enjoyed most about the roles I have held  is the sense of achievement gained when working well collectively and as part of a team.

As the Superintendent In St Helens,  I will continue building on the strong team and partnership working already in place- they are key ingredients to continuing to deliver a quality service and to ensuring our communities feel safe.

Local Policing Chief Inspector Steve Brizzell

Steve Brizzel Hi, I’m your local policing chief inspector Steve Brizell. I joined Merseyside Police in 1995, starting out in Wallasey and then moving to north Liverpool first on patrol and then in a plain-clothes role. I’ve also been a police dog handler for seven years (which I loved) and also a critical incident manager, where I dealt with a range of serious incidents.

I enjoy being involved in the policing of big public events such as sporting occasions, conferences and the Nato conference in 2015, which involved the biggest deployment of police officer in the UK’s history. I am also old enough to have worked Euro 96!

Neighbourhood policing has been my most rewarding role. I have a passion for building strong teams by working closely with partners to support and strengthen our local communities.
