Merseyside Police can confirm two men have been charged following dawn raids on Thursday (10 August) targeting individuals believed to be involved in serious organised crime with links to escaped prison fugitive Shaun Walmsley.
Michael Thomas Evans, 18 years, and Daniel Gerrard Evans, 22 years, both of Smeaton Street, Kirkdale have been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence.
Michael Evans has also been charged with possession of cannabis.
They have been released on bail to appear at North Liverpool Criminal Justice Centre on 25 August.
A 49-year-old woman from Kirkdale arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of a class A drug (crack cocaine) has been released under investigation.
A 30-year-old man from Kirkdale arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs and money laundering was earlier cautioned for possession of cannabis and released under investigation on suspicion of money laundering.
A 26-year-old man from Vauxhall who was wanted on warrant was earlier released under investigation.
