Kirkstone Road North, Litherland drop in centre

Merseyside Police’s  community team in South Sefton have worked alongside Sefton Council and One Vision Housing to provide a drop in centre to the local community.

The drop in centre is situated on Kirkstone Road North, Litherland amongst local stores. The centre will provide the local community a chance to report issues, get advice or just meet their local policing team.

This initiative started yesterday ( Monday 16 April) and will continue for at least two weeks. It will open every Monday and Thursday between 12pm and 2pm.

Community Inspector Ian Jones said: “ We have attained this space at the heart of the community to be accessible and visible to the residents.

“ We want to work with the residents and partner agencies to keep our communities a safe place to live. This centre will provide that opportunity to get any advice needed, report any community concerns or be signposted in the right direction to get support.

“Please come to this centre and meet your team.”

Anyone who wishes to report matters in their local community is encouraged to contact Merseyside Police social media desk via twitter @MerPolCC or Facebook Merseyside Police CC.
